Betting on two dozen and avoiding losing streaks on the one dozen you are not betting on. Lets start by betting on the first two dozen and not the third. when you lose on the third dozen do not bet until one of the first two dozen hit. This will allow you to win on long streaks on the first or second dozen but only lose on the fitst loss
Two different ways to win.
Win more bets than you lose or bet more when you win than when you lose.
One of the biggest problem is long losing streaks with increasing bet sizes.
Rule #1 Never bet to win more than one unit of profit when I am losing. Rule #2 Always know how much you have won or lost in this string, series and for the day. Rule #3 Always expect to lose your next bet and know where that will put your win loss situation.
I organize with piles of money/chips. If I am doing three level bets and then increasing after a certain number of losses I will organize the bets before starting.
I am a big fan of multiple bets of the same size before making a change in bet sizing. With nearly any system you can make three or five bets of the initial size. After these bets see where you are and then make the next bet in the progression.
Many progressions escalate the bet size fast enough that you hit the maximum table bet with less than ten steps. I want to be able to stay in the game for more than ten losses without breaking my bankroll and without hitting the table limit.
Step 1 Have a take home stack Step 2 Always know your bankroll position and the string position Step 3 Never make bets to win more than one unit when you are in the negative. Only bet to win big when you are wagering winnings.
This is an example of slowing down a simple D'Alembert progression. Normally sith this progression for every loss you go up one unit and down one unit with a win.
Another option is the 5 level bets. Money management for the five level system.
