Negative Roulette Progressions
I like betting strategies that increase by one unit after a loss and decrease one or two after a win. d'Alembert Progressions. This gives you more plays before you run out of bankroll or hitting the table limit.
I am not a big fan of using a Martingale Progression. When you double after each loss (AKA Martingale) you will hit the table limit after four to seven losses in a row depending on the table you are playing on.
I like betting strategies that have Home Run Numbers.
1. A Home Run Number bet could be, bet on a dozen and a column, the numbers that the intersection of both the column and the dozen would be home run numbers.
2. Another Home Run system would be betting on a color and a Dozen or a color and a column. With this you bet two units on the column or dozen and three units on the 50/50 bet like the Color or Odd/Even. You will win one unit when on all the covered number except the double hit numbers that are your home run numbers.
Start in the Middle
If you are playing a progression that increases on losses and decreases on wins, do not start with the table minimum. If you do and you win five in a row and then lose five in a row, all your losses will be at larger numbers than your wins.Start your Progressions four or five up from the Table Minimum bet and at least ten bets from the Table Maximum.
From the Law of the Thirds
I believe the numbers that have shown up more than once are more likely to show up more often. With a paper tablet next to you, record each number that hits. Check out the Roulette Law of Thirds A. In 37 spins roughly 1/3 of the numbers will not hit. Normally in 37 spins 23 or 24 different numbers with 10 doubles and two or three hit 3 to 6 times.
Tracking Profit/Loss
I like strategies that track your session profit. and reset after a new profit goal has been hit. For instance after a series of losses and profits where you do not make a new session High you would only go back to your initial bet after being up say five units from your previous session High.
I don't reset if I just get to session high, I want to be up at least $50 from my previous high. However if my bets are very large I may just cut back to the basic bet plus a couple notches up the progression. My goal is not to break even, it is to make a profit.
Sit Out After a Loss Before an Increased Bet
This can be used to avoid the losing streak on a column or dozen when your chosen bets stay the same. The "Roulette Master" showed an interesting streak betting plan. He only bet on the first two dozen. After the third dozen would hit he would quit betting until a first or second dozen would hit again. Then he would increase his bet by one unit and bet on the first two dozen. He would go back to a single unit bet on both the first two dozen after he reached a new session high or his predetermined goal. Another option on this would be to decrease by one unit after two wins.
This system will eliminate multiple losses in a row from the third dozen and will reap the benefits of a streaks of wins on either the first or second dozen or a streak of bouncing between the first and second dozen.
Roulette law of thirds
I'm also interested in numbers that show up multiple times. For instance in 111 rolls I believe there's one number is likely to show up 6 to 8 times and there are also one or two numbers that will not show up at all.
