Start at one unit and add one unit to your next bet on a loss and decrease one unit on each win.
Foolproof
After your first loss add one unit. Continue to add one unit on winning and losing bets. Revert back to one unit bet after a set number of units won. For example after you are ahead 10 units or 15 units revert back to the start.
Fibonacci
This is a negative progression where you start at 1 ,1 and then add the last two losing bets together. Then on wins you drop back two bets. The progression goes
1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, etc
After any series of losses you will be ahead after two wins in a row.
3X Modification.
This works with many systems to slow down the growth of bet size. Each bet the system recommends you make three times in a row. You track the three bets. Then if you win zero of the three bets go up 2, win one of three bets go up one, win two bets of three down one, win 3 down two. This would be for the next three numbers. This system averages out your losses to keep your bets from climbing as fast. Any time you win all three in the group you will be ahead.**After a win, bet your total losses **
Bet your base unit and track your losses. After loss or series of losses when you get a win bet the total of your losses. If you win start your tracking over. If you lose add this to your losses and go back to your base bet. After the next win bet your total losses.
After two wins in a row you revert to your base.
For example -10, -10, -10, -10, +10, bet 40 and win go back to 10 and track losses. However if you bet 40 and lose -10, -10, -10 Win 10 and next bet is 40+30. Hopefully you win this time, if not add 70 to your next series of losses.
If you have racked up a lot of losses you can decrease your bet after your win to one half your losses and go back to your base bet until you win again.
This strategy gets in trouble if you get a few losses followed by a bunch of chops where you win one, lose one, win one, lose one etc.
This strategy can be used while betting on two dozen or while betting on the 18 number bets.
Oscar' Grind
This is a famous slow progression. You will need to keep track of your losses in the string. A string starts with at least two losses. Continue betting your base bet as your losses mount. When you win after multiple losses increase your bet by one unit. As long as you are down after a win increase your bet by one unit. After multiple increases in your bet size make sure your bet will only produce one unit of profit. So after a win if you are still down 3 units but increasing your bet size would get you to a 6 unit bet change your bet to 4 units. If you lose continue on with the 4 unit bet until you win again.
The Law of the Third says that one third of the numbers will not hit in 37 spins, and in 111 spins seven numbers will hit only once and two or three will not hit at all.
Heavy Cover Bets, cover a majority of the numbers and hit a lot but do not pay much compared to the bet size. If you cover 12 of 37 numbers you will win twice what you bet. If you cover just six more numbers 18 of 37 you will win what you bet. If you cover six more numbers 24 of 37 you will win half of what you bet. If you cover six more numbers 30/37 you will win 1/5 of your your total bet.
I am a big fan of only playing on Single Zero Wheels. You have much better odds than on double or even triple zero tables (Never Ever play Triple Zero Wheels). As I understand they can be found on the East coast of the US where there are more Roulette players. In Las Vegas I have only found them in the High limit rooms. These tables have a minimum bet of $100. All the outside bets need to be at least $100 also. The smallest chip you can bet on the field is $25 and your field bets must add up to $100 also.
Perfect Roulette Wheels
I do not believe the roulette wheels are perfect. They are made and adjusted by humans. They may be pretty close to perfect but just a minor flaw could make you some money. A blemish in the wheel could make it really rare to hit a number or two or make a couple of numbers hit way more often than expected.
Track all the hits by number. If you spend quite a bit of time on one wheel you may find a number or two that come up a lot and a number or two that never seem to hit.
This number must be ready to hit!
Do not believe that since a number, dozen, color, etc has not hit for a while it is ready to hit.
Betting on what hasn't hit recently is a common play, this is one of the Gamblers Fallacy.
Live Roulette Wheel vs Electronic Wheel. I believe the Live Roulette wheels are more perfectly random than electronic wheels. The random number generators have been designed and then verified to make sure that the 37 or 38 numbers actually show up regularly in the 100,000 spin test. The live Roulette wheels are probably not tested for 100,000 spins to make sure they are true and that all the numbers show up near their expected value.
The Live Roulette wheels make enough money even if they have a severe tendency toward a number or group of number on the wheel. Unless a particular wheel is losing or making less money I doubt they are tested for accuracy. The house advantage on Roulette wheels, especially with 0 and 00 is large enough that the house makes good money.
